Our Mission:

1. To have a great time racing Slot Cars with scheduled races, diverse formats and a competitive atmosphere.
2. To co-ordinate races, local competitions and the promotion of Model Car racing.
3. To provide a network of fellow enthusiasts in the Greater Toronto and surrounding areas.

Collecting and racing Slot Cars is an excellent hobby and has many rewarding attributes. We aim to provide a relaxing, enjoyable atmosphere to race competitively, show cars, exchange ideas and meet new people.

At the Present

We meet one Friday night, and one Saturday each month, approx 7:00 -7:30pm and race 2 classes per meeting. We have a friendly atmosphere and we are all easy going. All of our organzised races are announced ahead of time and will allways take place on Saturday afternoons.

A number of our members have been racing slot cars for a long time. They are actively involved in the hobby, and are willing to support new members with the technical side of preparing cars and overing advice in a friendly enviroment.

As of January 2007, we have club members offering the use of their tracks in Whitby andPickering..

The GT-SRC is now excepting membership. We are also looking for members who would like to host races and help manage club races and promotional activities.

We will make every attempt to organize races which match the majority of the club member's schedules.
