This series will consist of 4 races on the following dates:

At the moment all races will be held at the “Slot Car Circuit Raceway”. As some of our fellow racer’s tracks are in various stages of completion, we will advise everyone 1 week in advance of any change in location. This will provide an avenue to race on a different track. A third “non-point standing” Revell Classic” race will be held after the two races for those who have time to participate. There will be no fees for this race.

General Information

  1. Open practice will be begin at 12:30 pm on each Saturday. Racing will start at 2 p.m.
  2. As there are only 4 lanes, Practice time will be limited to 10 minute ‘increments” when others are waiting for an opportunity to practice.
  3. After the each race is completed, the track will again be open for practice until all participants are ready for the next race.
  4. Entry fees, as noted below, are to be paid before a racer practices:
    1. $6.00 for the first class entered

    3. No fee for the Revell class entered
  5. Track is to be cleaned before the start of the first heat race for that day.

Race Format

All Cars will be stripped down and examined starting at 1:45pm before the race in order to gauge rule compliancy and administer a fair competitive atmosphere.

  1. Each race will consist of a Round Robin format and will be a timed race made up of 4 “2 minute” heats.
  2. Racers will run four heats, one heat in each of the four lanes.
  3. 2 minutes downtime will be allowed in between each heat to move cars to the next lane.
  4. Only racers can handle or work on their own cars during the 2 minute down time and, before each heat begins, will be responsible for placing a color sticker on their car corresponding to the color of the lane in which they will be running.
  5. If a car comes out of the slot during racing, the car will be returned to the track by a track marshal.
  6. The track will not be shut off unless 2 or more cars are on a lane, or any other extreme circumstance to be determined by the person running the scoring system for that race.
  7. The finishing order will be determined by the total combined distance, measured in laps and tenths of a lap, completed for all 4 heats.
  8. After each race is complete, there will be a 5 minute break before the next race.
  9. All racers sitting out “On Deck” will have to Marshall the track while others are racing.
  10. The power supply is to be set at 11.0 volts for each race unless otherwise specified.
  11. Controllers will be stock Parma and are to be connected to the track with 110volt plug adapters.
  12. Tires can only be cleaned between heats.
